-       Bucket

-       Toilet bowl cleaner

-       Toilet brush

-       3 x micro-fibre cloths

-       Broom with dustpan

Step 1:

Start by putting away all your toiletries, make-up and hair products. Unplug all appliances and put it away. For those ADD people, wipe your appliances and products so when placed back, everything is spotless.

Step 2:

Now the real work stars, so put on your gloves and start the grind. Spray the shower and tub with a cleaner and spray, and the sink and counter tops with the bathroom cleaner. Also use the toilet cleaner and squirt into the toilet bowl. Fill the tub with hot water and scrub the shower walls and bathtub. Let it rest

Step 3:

Fill up the sink with warm water and wet the micro-fiber clothes. Wipe the sink and counter tops and then rinse the cloth. Repeat if necessary. Now drain the sink and wipe it with a clean dry cloth.

Step 4:

Use the toilet brush and scrub the inside bowl of the toilet, the seat, lid and around the rims. Use a wet and dry cloth to wipe the outside of the toilet. Lastly, flush the toilet. A small tip: keep the toilet brush in a holder filled with some bleach next to the toilet, for ease of use.

Step 5:

Drain the tub and fill the bucket up with look-warm water. Throw the water out on the shower walls to rinse off the cleaner. Once all the soap is clean, wipe it all with a clean dry cloth. Don’t forget to wipe the taps with a wet and dry cloth.

Step 6:

Spray the mirrors with a glass cleaner and wipe it off with a newspaper to ensure a sparkling shine, without any marks. Use a newspaper that is at least 2 weeks old so there are no ink marks.

Step 7:

Now for a bathroom with no water spots and marks, spray the sink and countertops with the glass cleaner and wipe it off with a dry cloth.

Step 8:

Sweep the floor for all dust and debris. Only mop once everything has been swept so you don’t miss any of the hair and grime on the corners. Add an all-purpose cleaner to the bucket and fill with hot water. Either use a mop to clean the entire area or do it the old-fashioned way and use a wet rag and wipe the floor surface.

Step 9:

Almost done, for the last and most important step – put all the dirty clothes in the laundry and pack away the cleaning supplies, so that the next time is easier.
